The number of drowning accidents and deaths in the summer has decreased for two consecutive years.
In order to deepen the guidance of safety education for primary and secondary school students, the public security organs, together with the education department, jointly carry out special actions to prevent drowning of primary and secondary school students, and implement government leadership, home-school linkage, social participation, and departmental cooperation. Give full play to the role of the vice principal of the public security legal system, carry out publicity and interactive activities such as "entering the campus" to prevent drowning, and the publicity and education covers more than 65 million students, parents and teachers.
The public security organs also actively work with relevant departments to promote the establishment of a working mechanism led by the Party and government leaders and the participation of relevant departments, and continue to strengthen safety protection measures such as hidden danger investigation and rectification, water inspection and patrol, safety education and guidance, and emergency rescue linkage, so as to maximize the protection efficiency of key risks, key periods, key waters, and key areas.
