Announcement of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress

The 15th Session of the Standing Committee of the 14th People's Congress in Zhejiang Province was elected as a representative of the 14th National People's Congress. The 14th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th People's Congress of the Tibet Autonomous Region elected Gamazeden as a representative of the 14th National People's Congress. The 13th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th Qinghai Provincial People's Congress elected Luo Dongchuan as a representative of the 14th National People's Congress. The 14th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress confirmed that the representative qualifications of Liu Jie, Gamazeden and Luo Dongchuan were valid based on the report submitted by the Representative Qualification Review Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Tianjin Municipal People's Congress decided to remove Zhao Liang from his post as a representative of the 14th National People's Congress. The Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial People's Congress decided to remove Zhou Zhihong from his post as a representative of the 14th National People's Congress. The Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress decided to remove Zou Lianke from his post as a representative of the 14th National People's Congress. The Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial People's Congress decided to accept Liu Jiguo's resignation as a representative of the 14th National People's Congress. The Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Congress decided to accept Zhang Zhixiang's resignation as a representative of the 14th National People's Congress. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Law of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China and Local People's Congresses at all levels", the qualifications of representatives of Zhao Liang, Zhou Zhihong, Zou Lianke, Liu Jiguo and Zhang Zhixiang will be terminated.

As of now, the 14th National People's Congress has 2,929 actual representatives.
