CCTV News: According to the Ministry of Commerce website, the Ministry of Commerce issued an announcement No. 27 of 2025, announcing an anti-dumping investigation into the imported analog chips originating from the United States.
The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Commerce) received an anti-dumping investigation application formally submitted by the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the applicant) on behalf of the relevant domestic analog chip industry. The applicant requested an anti-dumping investigation on imported related analog chips originating from the United States. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China", the Ministry of Commerce reviewed the applicant's qualifications, the relevant situations of applying for investigation of products, the relevant situations of similar products in China, the impact of applying for investigation of products on domestic industries, and the relevant situations of applying for investigation of countries.
According to the evidence provided by the applicant and preliminary review by the Ministry of Commerce, the total output of the applicant's relevant analog chips complies with the provisions of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China on applicant qualifications. At the same time, the application contains the required content and relevant evidence for the filing of anti-dumping investigations stipulated in Articles 14 and 15 of the Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China.
According to the above review results and in accordance with Article 16 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to launch an anti-dumping investigation on imported related analog chips originating from the United States from September 13, 2025.
