The reporter learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that my country has built 154,000 flood reporting stations, 35,000 groundwater monitoring stations, and 1.53 million water intake measurement and monitoring facilities. my country's first remote sensing satellite named after water conservancy, "Water Conservancy One" was successfully launched, and 31 high-resolution remote sensing satellite data were received in real time, and the intelligent perception capability of water conservancy was comprehensively improved.

The Ministry of Water Resources implements the integrated monitoring and perception of "sky, ground, and water industry" action to consolidate the foundation and enhance the capacity, coordinate the construction of digital twin water basins, digital twin water networks, and digital twin projects, and actively build a digital twin water conservancy system with the functions of forecasting, early warning, previewing, and plan, providing forward-looking, scientific, accurate and safe support for water conservancy governance management. Beidou, artificial intelligence, big data, lidar, rain measurement radar, three-dimensional reconstruction technology, hydrological and hydrodynamic models, etc. have been deepened in many fields, and a number of digital twin projects such as Three Gorges, Danjiangkou, Xiaolangdi, and Datengxia have been built, and 49 digital twin irrigation areas such as Hetao and Zhushihang have been initially built, and 709 counties and rural water supply digital management platforms have been built nationwide.

In 2025, the Ministry of Water Resources will continue to improve the integrated monitoring and perception system of "sky, ground and water engineering", fully launch the national digital twin water conservancy construction project (Phase I), deepen the application of digital twins in the East and Middle Line of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, continue to promote the construction of digital twins in the Three Gorges, Xiaolangdi, Danjiangkou and other projects, coordinate the construction of digital twins in reservoirs, embankment water gates, flood storage and retention areas, water diversion projects, irrigation areas, rural water supply projects, promote the application of intelligent water conservancy business, and continuously improve the digital twin water conservancy system.
