The reporter learned from the Mohan Entry and Exit Border Inspection Station in Yunnan that as of April 14 this year, the Mohan Port on the China-Laos border has inspected and released more than 415,000 inbound and outbound personnel from 10 ASEAN countries, an increase of more than 24% year-on-year, accounting for more than 45% of the total number of inbound and outbound travel, and cross-border travel has become increasingly convenient and smooth.
Since this year, Mohan Port has inspected and released more than 920,000 inbound and outbound passengers, an increase of 11.8% year-on-year.
· The top three ASEAN countries in Mohan Port are Laos, Thailand and Malaysia.
·The most common reasons for entry and exit are sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends, and meetings and business.
·The ASEAN countries with fastest growth in entry and exit are Vietnam, Malaysia and Laos, with year-on-year growth of more than 49%, 47% and 28% respectively.
·Nearly 16,000 third-country personnel from 77 countries and regions around the world were inspected, an increase of 5.4% and 7.9% year-on-year respectively.
Faced with the trend of "big in and out, fast in and out" at the port, Mohan Port has fully launched intelligent verification stations, travel inspection express channels, on-site real-time translation machines, self-service printing of entry and exit record vouchers;
·In response to the diversified needs of inbound and outbound passengers, a multi-language visa-free guidance service team was established, and ASEAN language service posts were opened to provide consulting services for foreigners entering and leaving the country with legal policies, folk customs and other aspects;
·Temporarily adopt convenient measures such as opening channels, opening "tidal channels" and dedicated tourist groups, filling in the "Foreign Entry Card" in advance, and implementing "two announcements and one reminder" on holidays, and the overall inspection efficiency of inbound and outbound passengers and trains has been increased by more than 30%.
