CCTV News: 1.5 million mu of wild forsythia in Anze County, Shanxi Province have recently ushered in the peak flowering period, and local farmers have entered the busy spring season of picking forsythia leaves.

In Huanghualing, Anze County, Shanxi Province, wild Forsythia flowers are in full bloom all over the mountains. As a core production area with one-quarter of the national Forsythia production, the blooming of flowers here is not only a visual feast, but also a breeding characteristic industries with an annual output value of over 100 million yuan.

Li Xiaosi, Liangma Village, Liangma Town, said: "After picking forsythia leaves can be sold as forsythia tea in spring, when the fruit is ripe, that is, in summer, we can pick the fruit and sell it. Our four people are 40,000 to 50,000 yuan a year, and the per capita income can reach about 10,000 yuan."

In recent years, the Anze Forsythia industry is accelerating its upgrading. The local area has built 30 wild breeding demonstration zones, 24 artificial planting zones and 1 good breeding zone. At the same time, the forsythia industry is innovating and developing, helping villagers increase their income and become rich.

Feng Anfang, director of the Anze County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, said: "Anze has 1.5 million mu of wild forsythia, with an annual output of 4 million kilograms, and can achieve an annual output value of 150 million yuan. This output value can drive the average income of local people in the local households to more than 20,000 yuan. In the next step, we will extend the forsythia industry chain and transform the resource advantages of forsythia into production advantages and economic advantages."

Yanling, Henan: Planting thousands of acres of dandelions under the forest ushers in the harvest season

During this period, thousands of acres of dandelions in Yanling County, Xuchang City, Henan Province entered the harvest season. The mature seeds formed white pompoons, which were dotted with bright yellow flowers, and were arranged in an orderly manner. Among the ridges, farmers are busy harvesting the first crop of dandelion seeds this year.

As the agricultural machinery passes, the furry dandelion seeds are sucked into the four large pockets of the machine. In recent years, Yanling County has planted dandelions under the forest, making full use of idle space in the forest, and avoiding direct sunlight is also conducive to the growth of dandelions, achieving an organic combination of ecological and economic benefits.

Dandelion seeds can be used as medicine, and leaves can be made into dandelion tea, which can be harvested multiple times a year. Last year, the output of dandelions in Zhile Town reached more than 1,000 tons. Through a combined online and offline sales model, it has cooperated with many processing plants to provide raw materials.
