On July 20, according to Guangming Daily, a reporter learned from China Railway Hohhot Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that as of July 15, the Erlianhot Railway Port had more than 2,000 inbound and exiting China-Europe freight trains this year, 13 days earlier than last year.

Erlianhot Railway Port is the only inbound and outbound railway port on the China-Europe Expressway. With the rapid development of China-Europe freight trains, the railway department continues to weave a tight international logistics network. The port currently has 73 China-Europe freight train operating lines, radiating to more than 60 cities in 24 provinces and regions in China, and reaching more than 70 hubs and stations in more than 10 countries including Germany and Poland. The categories of export goods are becoming increasingly rich, from the previous main mechanical accessories, clothing, shoes and hats to the current main main new energy vehicles, electronic products, household appliances, etc., with a significant growth trend of high-value-added and high-tech products, which has now exceeded 40%.

In order to improve the efficiency of China-Europe freight trains, the railway department and Mongolia Zamenwude Station have implemented the "two-station integrated" transportation model. Through the "Japanese dialogue and monthly meeting" dialogue mechanism, they have interconnected the traffic flow between border stations and accurately arranged the train to start the train. Relying on the "digital port" system, they have continued to promote paperless customs clearance, strengthened communication and contact with customs, border inspection and other joint inspection units, and efficiently organized China-Europe freight train customs clearance review, priority inspection, and replacement and release. The side inspection and inspection time was shortened to within 30 minutes, and the train customs clearance time was reduced by more than 5%. Up to now, the China-Europe freight trains have been transported at Erlianhot Railway Port this year, an increase of 138 trains year-on-year; 226,500 standard containers and 2.563 million tons of cargo were transported, an increase of 6.7% and 10.5% year-on-year respectively.

The digital transformation of port customs clearance and the efficient cooperation of multiple departments have become the efficient pass code for the stable operation of China-Europe freight trains. Since its first train was opened in 2013, the Erlianhot Railway Port has a total of 19,000 China-Europe freight trains. The "Iron Camel Fleet" composed of the China-Europe Express provides important guarantees for promoting the joint construction of national exchanges and development of the "Belt and Road" and building a new development pattern of mutual promotion of domestic and international dual circulations.
