More than 20 large Qinhuai Lanterns, including "Phoenix Flying Sky" and "Flower Blossoms" lit up the night sky of Hai'an, attracting many tourists to check in and take photos.
Nanjing, Jiangsu Province is filled with a strong cultural New Year atmosphere. Huge spring couplets were hung on 13 city gates including the Zhonghua Gate, and calligraphers and children wrote blessings together to send blessings. In Wuhan, Hubei, the City Garden Community opened the temple fair to residents. In folk customs districts, many residents write the word "Fu" to convey New Year's blessing. In the activity experience area, children participate in traditional games such as archery, pot throwing, and Cuju. Nearly 20 market stalls also exhibit various Wuhan specialty foods.
In Hengdian Film and Television City, Dongyang, Zhejiang, the 2025 Hengdian Shangyuan Lantern Festival was held in the Qingming Shanghe Picture Scenic Area. Adorned by gorgeous lamps, the scenic spot has become a prosperous city street in the Song Dynasty. Hundreds of actors dressed in the Song Dynasty brought performances of songs, dance acrobatics and other interpretations, making tourists feel like they are entering a Song Yun journey that travels through time and space.
In the Toutun River Valley Forest Park in Xinjiang, the "Snake Dance in the New Year" lantern festival is dazzling. The lantern festival covers an area of 20,000 square meters. A total of 21 large-scale theme lanterns such as zodiac culture and New Year customs culture are designed, integrating intangible cultural heritage displays, stage performances, special foods and traditional folk customs to create a one-stop play experience for tourists.
In a community square in Longyang Street, Changde, Hunan, six long tables are lined up, and there are a wide range of steaming dishes, and community residents gather together to welcome the New Year. At the event, opera, singing and dancing and other programs were staged one after another, which attracted the crowd's applause and the atmosphere was warm. Traditional activities such as writing Spring Festival couplets, fried mahjong, and lion dance have added to the atmosphere of the New Year.
