The Third Session of the 14th National People's Congress held a press conference in the Great Hall of the People today (March 4). Congress spokesperson Lou Qinjian answered questions from Chinese and foreign reporters on the agenda of the conference and the work of the National People's Congress.

Lou Qinjian introduced that since the Second Session of the 14th National People's Congress, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress has fully played the leading role of the National People's Congress in legislative work and strived to promote the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics to keep pace with the times and develop and improve. Over the past year, 39 legal bills have been reviewed, 24 of which have been passed, including 6 laws, 14 laws have been formulated, and 4 decisions on legal issues and major issues have been made.
