Today (March 1), the National Public Data Resources Registration Platform was officially launched. Carrying out data registration is an institutional innovation in accelerating the flow and development of public data in my country, which is conducive to accelerating the formation of a national "one account" for public data resources.

The National Public Data Resources Registration Platform launched today is mainly responsible for handling registration business of central and state organs and their directly affiliated institutions and central enterprises. At the same time, it is temporarily accepting registration applications for some provinces that have not completed the platform construction.

At present, the registration of central departments such as the National Healthcare Security Administration and local institutions such as the Beijing Big Data Center are active. The platform already has the first batch of national-level public data on medical insurance, meteorology, natural resources, etc., as well as public data from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Shanghai, Guangdong, Hainan, Sichuan, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and other places.

In addition, provincial platforms such as Shanxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hubei and other provinces will be launched simultaneously today, and will be interconnected with the national platforms.

A relevant person in charge of the National Data Administration said that on the basis of the platform's launch, a national public data resource registration system with clear responsibilities, responsible division of responsibilities, and orderly operation will be gradually built. In the future, the platform functions will be continuously optimized, the registration service quality will be improved, and the diversified use of the number users will be better met, and the release of the value of public data resources will be accelerated.
