In the past five years, overcoming various difficulties, Xu Wei led his team to build a "plant factory", introducing scientific and technological innovation into traditional agriculture, so that strawberries, a seasonal fruit, can be produced and picked at any time of the year.

Recently, a reporter from the General Station came to Sidu Town, Huichuan District, Zunyi City and entered the "plant factory" created by Xu Wei's team. At first glance, the entire "factory" is like a warm "flower room".

The reporter found that the pictures taken here looked pink. In this regard, Xu Wei explained that this is because the lights in the factory are specially formulated through four spectrums such as blue, red and orange, which is a normal color. But then the reporter discovered that it is the season when strawberries are on the market in a concentrated manner, and there are almost no strawberries available for picking in the "plant factory". What's going on?

Born in 1981, Xu Wei is from Wenzhou, Zhejiang. After graduating from a master's degree at Zhejiang University, he has been working hard in the Hangzhou IT industry. After being introduced to Zunyi, Guizhou in 2017 as a high-level talent, he took root in the west.

In December 2019, Xu Wei responded to the call of Zunyi City's professional talents to go to the countryside to lead the rural revitalization demonstration base, and built greenhouses to plant strawberries in Sidu Town, officially starting his entrepreneurial journey. At the beginning of his business, Xu Wei led his team to try to develop a big data strawberry planting management system.

These five major codes must be tried in groups. If the light is wrong, the gas is not suitable no matter how good it is, how much carbon dioxide is supplemented. We not only use instruments to test in the laboratory, but we are also standing inside.

More than 1,800 experiments, thousands of times, finally, Xu Wei's team established a strawberry growth model and medical history model, and also selected one variety suitable for indoor cultivation from more than 70 varieties.

In January 2024, Xu Wei invested 16 million yuan to build a plant factory covering an area of ​​2.6 acres in the factory. The strawberries that originally lived in the greenhouse were moved into the 7-story "small building" to achieve production all year round.
