The output value of my country's satellite navigation industry hit a new high

The reporter learned from the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association that in 2024, the overall output value of my country's satellite navigation and location service industry with Beidou as the core reached 575.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.39%, and the scale of the industry continued to expand. At the same time, Beidou has entered a new stage of large-scale application, fully integrating into the construction of important national infrastructure such as electricity, communications, and transportation, as well as multiple fields such as mass consumption and sharing economy. The latest data shows that the total sales of domestic satellite navigation positioning terminal products in 2024 exceeded 410 million units. The Beidou system has fully entered the standard system of 11 international organizations such as civil aviation, maritime, and mobile communications. Beidou products, technologies and services have been exported to more than half of the countries and regions around the world.

In the first four months, my country's postal delivery business volume increased by 18.3% year-on-year

Data from the State Post Bureau showed that from January to April, the total delivery business volume of my country's postal industry reached 67.4 billion pieces, an increase of 18.3% year-on-year. Among them, the total express delivery business volume reached 61.45 billion pieces, an increase of 20.9% year-on-year. Since the beginning of this year, express delivery companies have been deeply engaged in industries, fruits and vegetables, flowers, medicine, automobile parts and other fields, actively serving modern agriculture and advanced manufacturing, meeting consumers' diversified delivery needs, and promoting the steady expansion of business scale. Express delivery companies promote terminal unmanned equipment and deploy unmanned vehicles and drones in many places across the country. At the same time, we will accelerate the construction of overseas warehouses and steadily expand the international delivery market. From January to April, the international express delivery business volume in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan reached 1.35 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 25.4%.
