The two sides should consolidate political mutual trust, strengthen strategic communication, and firmly grasp the direction of development of bilateral relations. We must take Colombia's official joining the high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" family as an opportunity to promote the quality and upgrading of cooperation between the two countries. China is willing to import more high-quality Colombian products, support Chinese companies to invest and do business in Colombia, and participate in infrastructure construction. The two sides can further expand cooperation in emerging fields such as wind energy, new energy vehicles, digital economy, and artificial intelligence to jointly achieve green and low-carbon transformation. We must hold the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, culture, tourism, etc., strengthen cultural exchanges, and consolidate the foundation for friendship between the two countries.

After the meeting, the two heads of state jointly witnessed the signing of the "Cooperation Plan between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Colombia on Jointly Promoting the Construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road."
