CCTV News: Pengxi County, Sichuan Province relies on its forest resources advantages and vigorously develops the under-forest edible fungi planting industry according to local conditions, which not only broadens new paths for industrial development, but also encourages the villagers' "purse".
Recently, the Pengxi County National Reserve Forest Project Under Forest Economic (Edible Fungi) Demonstration Base has ushered in a bumper harvest season for edible fungi. Walking into the base, under the lush forests, clusters of fungi were growing out of the ground, and the workers were carefully turning over the humus soil and picking red pine mushrooms.
From reserve forest to "enriching forest", Pengxi County has opened up a new path for high-quality development in hilly areas with edible fungi. In recent years, Pengxi County has given priority to promoting the advantageous industries of edible fungi and is committed to building a 10 billion-dollar industrial cluster for edible fungi. At present, edible fungi have become a characteristic agricultural industry with strong brand, strong support and wide radiation.
Chongqing Yunyang: Loquats are ripe and listed, with excellent quality and promotion of income growth
The current season is the ripe and listing of loquats. More than 12,000 acres of loquats are ripe and listed in Bayang Town, Yunyang, Chongqing. Compared with previous years, the sales price of local loquats has increased this year, and these golden fruits have also become the "rich fruit" of local fruit farmers.
Walking into Bayang Village, Bayang Town, Yunyang County, on the loquat trees all over the mountains, the golden fruits hang on the branches, and the air is filled with the fragrance of loquats. Fruit farmers are passing through it, skillfully picking ripe loquats.
At the acquisition point, buyers from all over the country have already waited early, sorting, packing and weighing on site, which is a busy scene. There are more than 20 acquisition points like this in Bayang Town. In order to actively open up the sales channels of fruit farmers and loquats, the local area has also formed a "online + offline" sales model.
It is understood that since the second half of last year, the local climate has been suitable and the light has sufficient, so the loquat has excellent quality, full flesh, rich juice, and high sweetness, which is very popular among the market. It is expected that the output this year will exceed 15,000 tons and the output value will exceed 180 million yuan.
Guizhou Weining: Developing the forest economy and driving people's income growth
In recent years, Weining County, Guizhou has vigorously implemented the mountain closure and forest cultivation and returning farmland to forest projects, and the county's forest land area has reached 4.19 million mu. The local area will give full play to its advantages in forest resources and promote the large-scale development of the forest economy. At present, the scale of forest economy has reached 700,000 mu, driving 52,000 people to increase their income steadily.
At present, at the Gastrodia elata planting base of Shazipo Forest Farm in Weining County, which is more than 2,300 meters above sea level, people are carrying out fungi materials processing, strain distribution and soil covering operations in the forest. This forest farm with 60,000 acres of forest has become a golden area for forest planting due to natural conditions such as large temperature difference between day and night and abundant precipitation.
At present, the base adopts the "company + base + farmer" operation model, which not only provides employment opportunities for more than 60 people around, but also helps them master standardized planting technology through technical training. While developing under-forest planting, the local area is also exploring the under-forest breeding industry. In the past two days, at the under-forest breeding base in Jindou Town, Weining County, staff are adding feed to the newly dehumidified chick seedlings. According to reports, the free-range mode under the forest increases the activity space of chickens, and chickens can freely feed insects and weeds, reduce artificial feed investment, and reduce breeding costs. In addition, the forest ventilation and low density have greatly reduced the incidence of chicken diseases.
At present, Weining County has developed under-forest economy according to local conditions, forming a diversified development pattern of "forest fungi, forest bee, forest medicine, forest poultry". Combined with policy support, scientific and technological empowerment and industrial chain extension, it has effectively promoted rural revitalization.
