Combined with the opinions on El Niño and climate forecasts in spring 2025, it is expected that the equatorial Pacific will be in a neutral state this summer, and there is a possibility of colder again in autumn and winter.
In 2025, 4 to 6 catastrophic typhoon storm surges will occur along my country's coast, with 38 to 42 catastrophic waves. Strong storm surges (including above levels) will mainly affect my country's southeastern coast; 3 to 4 catastrophic temperate storm surges will occur along the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea coast; the number of red tides in the nearshore my country's red tide is 50 to 65, of which the areas with severe red tide impact are mainly Zhejiang waters.
