It is understood that in 2025, Shanghai upgraded and launched the first Shanghai 3.0 version, with a total of 10 support policies released. Including piloting measures to facilitate inspection of imported consumer goods in the first launch, piloting the rapid customs clearance model for imported cosmetics, and optimizing the "enterprise service package" measure for customs clearance convenience for imported new products, etc., increasing support from multiple dimensions such as exhibition support, customs clearance convenience, and financial incentives to further optimize the first launch environment for new products in the world.
Liu Min, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Commerce Commission, introduced that three main policies have been added, and rewards and support will be given to the first launch of new products held by high-level exhibitions. At the same time, with the strong support of the customs department, the port service and commodity inspection and quarantine links have further improved efficiency, and non-selling goods in the cosmetics import link have further improved convenience.
It is understood that during the 2025 "First Launch in Shanghai" series of activities, Shanghai will launch a batch of major first stores, hold a batch of high-level first exhibitions, launch a batch of global first launches, and gather a batch of new product firsts. Including the first launch event of the China Central Radio and Television Station’s first launch of the consumer season, the 2025 Autumn and Winter Shanghai Fashion Week, the 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show, and the 2025 China Home Appliance and Consumer Electronics Expo.
