From May 8 to 9, a Gambian media visiting China delegation came to Urumqi, Xinjiang for inspection. They visited key enterprises, cultural and tourism scenic spots and mainstream media organizations, had in-depth exchanges with people of all ethnic groups, and personally felt the fruits of Xinjiang's modernization development.

During the inspection, members of the visiting Chinese delegation praised Xinjiang's cultural diversity and ecological environment, and recorded their views with cameras, indicating that after returning to China, they would show the real Xinjiang to the Gambian public through image propaganda.
