CCTV News: On April 29, the country's first comprehensive bonded zone low-altitude transportation intelligent customs clearance model was officially launched in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. Achieve intelligent supervision of the full process of the comprehensive bonded area for transporting goods from drones, effectively accelerate the transfer of bonded goods, and help enterprises efficiently open up the domestic and international markets.
Under the full-process positioning monitoring of the low-altitude logistics control platform of Huangpu Customs, a drone carrying bonded cargo took off from a processing and trading company outside the Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone in Guangzhou and landed onto the exclusive take-off and landing platform of the UAV inspection in Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone. After automatically interacting with the customs to complete the verification and release data, it flew away from the Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone and arrived at the enterprise logistics park 13 kilometers away. The whole journey took only about 30 minutes.
Lin Canbin, head of the Inspection Section of the Suidong Customs, introduced that the low-altitude logistics control platform is equivalent to laying an invisible "electronic cordon" on the drone's flight route. Once the drone deviates from the predetermined route, it will trigger an alarm, thereby achieving accurate supervision of bonded goods. At the same time, they combined cross-border e-commerce and comprehensive bonded zone special businesses to sort out the list of goods suitable for drone transportation, and actively promoted the precise connection between the supply and demand ends of low-altitude logistics.
Unmanned aerial vehicle transport is not only faster, but also more efficient. The bonded cargo drone transport flew from the factory to the Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, automatically entering and exiting the zone and obtaining inspection and release instructions. After the customs release, it will quickly leave the area and fly to the destination, with faster time and lower cost. Compared with traditional truck transportation, drones transport goods in and out of Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone is expected to save enterprises on average 50% of logistics time and 10% of transportation costs.
The processing trade industry in the Pearl River Delta region has developed early, large scale, and a large variety of goods, and the bonded cargo drone transportation market is broad.
