From the Yellow River Water Conservancy Committee of the Ministry of Water Resources, it is expected that the precipitation in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River Basin will be significantly more severe this year, with heavy rainstorms, and there will be severe flood situations.
According to the Meteorological Center of the Yellow River Basin, the overall climate conditions of the basin during this year's flood season are deviated, with uneven temporal and spatial distribution of precipitation, and flooding is heavier than drought, and the risk of regional phased drought and flood is relatively high. During the flood season, most of the Yellow River Basin is located in the northern rainy areas, and the precipitation in the middle and lower reaches will be 20% to 30% more than usual. There is a high possibility of regional flooding. We must closely guard against basin floods, urban rainstorms and mountain torrents and geological disasters.
