According to the forecast of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Border Inspection Station of the Zhuhai-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Border Inspection Station, from January 28 (New Year's Eve) to February 4 (the seventh day of the first lunar month), the inbound and outbound passenger flow through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will exceed 900,000 passengers and the traffic will exceed 150,000 vehicles.

The convenience customs clearance policies of "Hong Kong car north" and "Macao car north" continue to be deepened, and the "individual travel" cities in mainland China to Hong Kong and Macao are constantly expanding. Coupled with the influence of Zhuhai's new policy on tourism to Macao, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is becoming one of the popular channels for cross-border travel for mainland and Hong Kong and Macao residents during the Spring Festival with the advantage of "one bridge to three places" convenient transportation.

The person in charge of the border inspection station of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge said that since the Spring Festival travel rush began on January 14 this year, as of the 27th, the inbound and outbound passenger flow and traffic through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge reached 1.09 million and 230,000 respectively, an increase of 36% and 35% year-on-year respectively, and the cross-border travel demand of residents in the three places has increased significantly compared with previous years.

According to the border inspection station's forecast, during the 2025 Spring Festival holiday, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will usher in a new peak in inbound and outbound passenger flow in the past three years. The peak period of entry and exit will be concentrated on January 31 (the third day of the Lunar New Year), February 1 (the fourth day of the Lunar New Year), and February 2 (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year). The maximum inbound and outbound passenger flow in a single day is expected to reach 140,000 passengers, and the maximum inbound and outbound vehicle flow in a single day will reach 22,000 vehicles.

In order to properly respond to the peak passenger flow at the port during the Spring Festival, the border inspection station of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will continue to optimize the diversion and guidance plan. Through the communication and contact mechanism with the Hong Kong-Macao entry and exit management department, report the inbound and exit information in advance, and add, open, and open full inspection channels in advance; in response to the large proportion of elderly people and children who pass the customs clearance during the Spring Festival, pre-guided and manual inspection positions will be added, put into use the mobile inspection mode to maximize customs clearance efficiency and ensure smooth and orderly exchanges between Chinese and foreign passengers, and safe and efficient customs clearance.
