The peak of the Spring Festival travel rush coincides with the strongest rain and snow weather this winter, and the Yinxi High-speed Railway train is running at a speed limit due to snowfall. Relevant departments have carried out snow cleaning in key areas of major routes such as Longhai, Xikang, and Baoxi to ensure transportation safety.

In terms of highways, as of 11:00 on the 25th, due to snowfall and freezing of road surfaces, more than 160 sections of roads in Shaanxi, Gansu, Henan, Ningxia and other provinces have taken closed or traffic control measures, and the time for resumption of traffic is to be determined.

In the next three days, the temperature in most parts of Inner Mongolia, eastern Northwest, southwest, North China, Huanghuai and most areas south will drop by 8 to 12℃, and there will be blizzards in some areas such as Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Liaoning and other places. In addition, from day to night from the 25th, there will be heavy fog with visibility of less than 1 kilometer in Qiongzhou Strait, Leizhou Peninsula, and coastal waters of Guangxi, among which there will be thick fog with visibility of less than 500 meters in some waters of Qiongzhou Strait.

Xinjiang: Snow-clearing vehicles carry out snow cleaning operations

Since January 23, continuous snowfall has occurred in many places in northern Xinjiang. In the early morning of the 23rd, the old wind junction section of National Highway 335, Tori County, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang encountered a level 12 wind blowing snow, and the temperature was as low as -22℃. Many vehicles slid down the roadbed from Tori County to Emin County, and local police quickly launched rescue.

After more than three hours of rescue, all 18 vehicles and 49 people trapped were successfully rescued, with no casualties.

Gansu: Heavy snowfall affects traffic and takes multiple measures to warm passengers' way home

Gansu also experienced large-scale heavy snowfall since January 24, and some sections of more than ten expressways, including G22 Qinglan Expressway and S15 Wuping Expressway, implemented temporary traffic control. Due to rain and snow weather and road icing, all ticket sales and trains at Qingyang North Bus Station have been stopped. In terms of railways, in order to ensure the safe and orderly boarding of passengers, Qingyang Station has established a snow-purge emergency team to lay anti-slip straw mats and carpets in key areas such as the entrance, platform, and escalator as soon as possible, sprinkle grain salt, and set up safety warning signs to prevent passengers from slipping and falling.

Shanxi: Traffic police drove the car for the owner and drove off the frozen road
