At the 500-acre continuous selenium-rich grain and oil rice planting base in Luohe Town, Pingli County, with the roar of the pumping pump, the clear water source slowly pours into the dry rice fields along the weir canal, and farmers are scrambling and transplanting rice during farming. Local villagers said: "This year, the sky has been dry, and the rice seedlings have not been planted. The village and the government organized the water to pump from the Daheba. After pumping for half a month, they poured the water. I beat the fields overnight and planted the seedlings today."

Due to the continuous drought, the county and town levels have fully investigated and selected sites and built drought-resistant pumping stations, equipped with high-power water pumps and a water pipeline network covering the core area, and transported the water source of the main river channel in the town to the upstream of the irrigation weir canal, achieving the effect of irrigation in continuous farmland. Kang Wandan, secretary of the Party branch of Anba Village, said: "There are more than 500 acres of rice in Anba Village, and the planting area has now reached more than 80%. The government has arranged a water supply station and the village organized the purchase of 8 diesel water pumps to ensure the water use problems of farmers in the later planting process."

Affected by the continued drought, water supply in the urban area of ​​Ankang Ziyang County faces severe challenges. The local water affairs department has carried out emergency operations, installed new horizontal submersible pumps, and added temporary pumping stations. In addition to emergency repairs and pipeline laying, water delivery services are also carried out in an orderly manner in various parts of Ziyang County. Up to now, Ziyang County has allocated pipelines to attract new sources to replenish water, built 8 new pump stations, laid 21 submersible pumps and 3,360-meter pumping pipelines, implemented 17 temporary pumping projects, and carried out emergency water delivery measures. The domestic water for urban and rural residents in the county can be basically guaranteed.
