On April 15th local time, President Xi Jinping arrived in Kuala Lumpur by special plane.

As Xi Jinping took a car from the airport to his hotel, local overseas Chinese waved the national flags of China and Malaysia on both sides of the road, holding high the red banners of "Warm welcome President Xi Jinping to visit Malaysia" and "Long live the friendship between China and Malaysia", and welcomed President Xi Jinping to the visit with a festive and enthusiastic lion dance performance.
