China's e-commerce logistics index in March was 110 points, up 1.1 points from the previous month. In the sub-index, the total business volume index rebounded significantly. In March, the total business volume index of e-commerce logistics was 126.8 points, up 3.5 points from the previous month. By region, the western region has the largest rebound.

The rural e-commerce logistics business volume index has increased significantly. In March, the rural e-commerce logistics business volume index was 125.7 points, up 5.3 points from the previous month. By region, the rural business volume index in all regions across the country has rebounded, with the central region rebounding by 6.3 points month-on-month, with the largest rebound.

In addition, this year's "Government Work Report" proposes to innovate and enrich consumption scenarios and accelerate the development of new consumption such as digital, green, and intelligent. In the e-commerce logistics market, the instant retail consumption scenarios show a diversified trend from "emergency" to "daily", and the volume of instant delivery orders has grown rapidly. In the field of live e-commerce, the store broadcast model that directly displays and sells products to consumers has emerged, and has built a diversified live e-commerce ecosystem with traditional e-commerce platforms, working together to promote strong growth in the industry.

Efficiency improvement, turnover accelerated, cost index declined continuously

Electronic logistics companies were operating at full capacity in March, and service efficiency steadily improved. Logistics timeliness and fulfillment rates have both increased compared with last month, and the inventory turnover rate of enterprises continues to accelerate.

In an intelligent industrial park in Wujin National High-tech Zone, Changzhou, Jiangsu, the reporter noticed that there are about 800 vehicles entering and leaving the city every day. With the latest intelligent assembly lines and smart shelves put into operation, the efficiency of goods management and shipment frequency control has been increased by 10%.

While intelligent warehousing technology improves warehousing efficiency, the warehouses of origin and distribution warehouses are also narrowing the distance between cross-border e-commerce products and consumers. In a distribution warehouse in the northern area of ​​Weihai Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Shandong, more than 1,500 cross-border e-commerce products are stored, from packaging and out-of-warehouse to completing customs clearance, and can be delivered to consumers as soon as possible on the same day. These cross-border e-commerce products have entered my country's market with the help of an increasingly perfect international logistics system.

From the perspective of China's e-commerce logistics index in March, the logistics timeliness index and fulfillment rate index rose by 2.5 points and 0.8 points respectively compared with the previous month. In addition, the turnover rate of enterprise inventory continued to accelerate, with a month-on-month increase of 0.5 points higher than the previous month.

Against this background, the e-commerce logistics cost index in March fell by 1.3 points from the previous month, down by four consecutive months, and the cost pressure on enterprises has eased.
