Investment in water conservancy construction hit a record high. 41 major national water network projects were started throughout the year, 46,967 water conservancy projects were implemented, and 1352.9 billion yuan of water conservancy construction investment was completed, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year. "Two-handed efforts" have achieved new breakthroughs. The first water conservancy infrastructure investment trust fund in the country was successfully issued and listed. Many places have explored provincial fiscal loan interest subsidies to support water conservancy policies. The Yangtze River, Songliao Basin and the South-to-North Water Diversion Center have achieved the "first order" transaction of cross-provincial water use rights. The ecological environment of rivers and lakes continues to improve, and the mother river recovery action is being accelerated. 74 rivers of 88 rivers and lakes across the country are fully connected, 5 rivers have increased their water length and duration, and the ecological water level (water volume) of 9 lakes have been effectively guaranteed.
