CCTV News: A kind of decoration that can be worn on nails is now popular on the market. Because it can be easily changed to different styles, it is called "wearing armor" by many people. In Donghai County, Lianyungang, Jiangsu, 150 million pairs of wearable armor can be produced every year, of which 40% are sold to more than 30 countries and regions around the world through cross-border e-commerce, and a big business is made on the tip of a small finger.
At four or five in the morning, the cross-border live broadcast base in Donghai County, Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province was brightly lit. The anchors introduced their wearer to overseas fans in fluent English. Assistants were busy sorting and packing. The packed express boxes were piled up outside the live broadcast room, waiting to be sent to all parts of the world. It is understood that since this year, overseas consumers are no longer satisfied with simple low-priced models, but prefer hand-woven armor with exquisite design and cultural connotation.
Unlike assembly line mass production, among the exported products, there are also some high-end wearable armors that can be sold for thousands of dollars. Most of them are hand-painted by manicurists or even intangible cultural heritage craftsmen. Each piece is integrated with creativity and ingenuity, and is regarded as a "miniature work" by some foreign buyers.
