CCTV News: Now is the season for oyster meat. In the past few days, oyster farmers in Ningbo, Zhejiang have ushered in a busy harvest season.

At the intersection of seawater and freshwater in Ninghai County, Ningbo, Zhejiang, there is an oyster pasture of more than 4,000 acres. Recently, farmers have shuttled back and forth between the sea and the dock every day to harvest oysters, and a boat is filled in a while.

The harvested oysters are usually processed on the shore. The farmers skillfully took the tools and gently pried them along the seams of the oyster shells, and the white oyster meat slid into the basin.

According to statistics, in 2024, the output of marine aquaculture oysters in Xidian Town, Ninghai County was 12,585 tons, with an output value of 120 million yuan.
