The reporter learned from the Ministry of Natural Resources on the 18th that the first plenary meeting of the Ministry of Natural Resources Safety Production Committee held recently in 2025 clearly proposed to make special plans related to hazardous chemicals one of the key tasks, strictly plan approval, and include special plans related to hazardous chemicals in the management of "one map" of land space planning.

It is reported that in 2025, the Ministry of Natural Resources will play a leading role in planning, guide and coordinate the layout of space, land and facilities involved in the comprehensive disaster prevention plan of land space, and promote the construction of a safety pattern of land space disaster prevention; optimize the spatial pattern of infrastructure, improve the comprehensive carrying capacity of cities, and enhance safety resilience.

At the same time, the Ministry of Natural Resources will also strengthen mining production safety work, scientifically set up and optimize the layout of mining rights; strictly supervise and enforce the law, early detection, early stop and early investigation and punishment, and severely crack down on illegal behaviors; do a solid job in geological disaster prevention and control, marine disaster monitoring and early warning, and strengthen risk and hidden danger inspection and investigation.
