Deng Ganchun is the head of the innovation team of oil quality chemistry and processing utilization at the Institute of Oil Crops, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He has been focusing on oil-deep processing and nutrition research for many years.

At the 2024 National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Deng Ganchun focused on the grain and oil supply side and put forward suggestions on strengthening China-Africa oil and scientific cooperation and expanding diversified supply channels for oil and oil.
