In Changzhou, seasonal dishes such as artemisia reed and spring bamboo shoots are very popular. According to market stall owners, vegetables are generally growing well this year, with prices such as shepherd's purse, golden cauliflower and malan head basically remaining between 6 and 10 yuan per catty, generally down about 20% compared with last year. The most expensive ones are spring bamboo shoots and Chinese toon, which are 25 yuan and 100 yuan per catty, respectively, but it also decreased compared with the same period last year.
With the successive launch of spring vegetables, many catering companies have also updated their menus, and broad beans, spring bamboo shoots, malantou, etc. have jumped onto the table and become the protagonists.
