These two exhibitions will create a high-quality platform that integrates new vehicle displays, automotive tuning culture, and artistic exchange. The collaboration aims to equip industry professionals with insights into the latest market trends while providing visitors with an immersive, top-tier exhibition experience that showcases the exceptional allure of Asia’s automotive customisation culture.

Elevating Asia’s Automotive Customisation Industry to New Heights

Founded in 1983, TAS has grown into the world’s largest and most prestigious annual automotive tuning exhibition. Recognised as the global benchmark for the auto customisation industry, it attracts over 200,000 automotive enthusiasts, industry professionals, and international media each year. The exhibition not only showcases cutting-edge tuning craftsmanship and innovative designs but also drives the evolution of global car culture.

TAS · HK will usher in a new chapter in automotive cultural exchange between Hong Kong and Japan, leveraging the city’s unique status as a global gateway. It will also serve as an effective platform connecting the Chinese and global automotive tuning industries, further accelerating the sector’s dynamic growth.

Debut in Hong Kong: Showcasing the Pinnacle of Japanese Automotive Craftsmanship

The inaugural TAS · HK will highlight the essence of Japanese automotive customisation culture, ranging from classic car restoration to cutting-edge performance tuning. In addition to displaying a selection of modified vehicles that have never been presented in Japan, TAS · HK will feature Japan's most esteemed tuning masters performing live modifications, providing visitors with an intimate experience of Japan's legendary craftsmanship.

"These mobile masterpieces, which blend cutting-edge technology with artisan craftsmanship, not only reflect the forward-thinking vision of Japan’s tuning industry but also promise an unprecedented visual feast for automotive enthusiasts in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, and beyond," said Junichi Fukui, Director-General of the Tokyo Auto Salon Association.

Reinforcing Hong Kong's Position as an Arts and Cultural Capital

The grand opening of TAS · HK is set to invigorate Hong Kong's economic landscape. The organiser anticipates that the four-day exhibition will attract over 100,000 visits, generating direct economic benefits while stimulating growth in related industries.

The successful introduction of the world-renowned TAS will mark a milestone in Hong Kong's automotive cultural development. The exhibition will create an international platform for in-depth artistic and technical collaboration between local exhibitors and global tuning leaders, fostering the integration of cutting-edge car customisation concepts with innovative technologies.

By partnering with local art associations and educational institutions, the exhibition will feature a series of curated programmes that showcase the city’s artistic merits in automotive customisation, offering the public an immersive experience of this distinctive culture.

TAS · HK 2025 has received strong support from key automotive organisations, including The Hong Kong China Automobile Association (HKAA), The Motor Traders Association of Hong Kong (HKMTA), and several active JDM owner clubs, which will further strengthen the impact of this platform on automotive culture and innovation ecosystems, promoting high-quality development in the region's automotive industry.
